The County Council consists of seven members. The three at large members are Bill McConnell, W.W. George, and George Ankenbrand. The four members from the four districts are Craig Pflug from the east, Jeremy Overton form the South, LeAnn Smith from the Princeton area, and Tony Wolfe from the North. George Ankenbrand is the President of the Council for 2011 and Jeremy Overton is the Vice.

The Council is the fiscal body of the County. Their primary responsibilities revolve around setting and reviewing the budgets for the County offices and appropriating funds for county government operations. They meet the second Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m. except for the third Tuesday in November and December.  All meetings are posted on the Calendar for this website.
